What We Do

What we do:

• Managing nature reserves for wildlife - By managing our own sites for native habitats and species, we achieve action for biodiversity and natural places for people to visit.

• Supporting community environmental action - By working with local people of all ages and from all backgrounds, we enable practical conservation action to take place.

• Campaigning on behalf of local wildlife - By working with decision makers such as politicians, civil servants and business leaders, we influence policy and practice to ensure positive action for local wildlife and biodiversity.

• Teaching people about nature - We believe that by engaging with people to help them to value both the local and global environment, and the role that humans have within it, we can secure a healthy future for both people and wildlife.
