Volunteering on our Nature Reserves

Woodland ManagementOur Nature Reserves Team work Monday to Friday on our nature reserves across Northern Ireland, and they are always looking out for volunteers to lend a hand in the practical management of these sites.

The Team carries out a range of conservation tasks including: pond/wetland restoration, tree coppicing, hedge management, meadow mowing and managing conservation grazing, path maintenance, litter removal, provision of nest boxes, and habitat & species monitoring - including regular botanical monitoring, bird surveys and butterfly transects.
